Thomas DeRosa   -   Chairman Term Ends:  December 31, 2009
Tom resides on Sunnyside Hollow Road, near the Gallatin area of Forward Township, where he was born and raised.  He earned a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from California University of  Pennsylvania.   Tom currently owns and operates a business in Forward Township.  See Below for more information about Tom DeRosa.
 
Tom Headley - Vice Chairman Term Ends:  December 31, 2011

Tom lives on an 84 acre farm along Pangburn Hollow Road.  He earned a Bachelors Degree from Georgia Tech.  After serving as an executive  for several steel and metals-related companies, Tom is now serving as an administrator for the University of Pittsburgh. 

 
Dave Magiske - Treasurer Term Ends:  December 31, 2013
Dave resides in the Ella Hollow area of Forward Township where he was raised.   He earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University and is a Certified Public Accountant.  Until his recent retirement Dave served as the Controller for a Monroeville based company.
 

MEETINGS:  The Board of Supervisors meet at the Municipal Building on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M.   The public is invited.

General Information:  The Board of Supervisors

        The Board of Supervisors consists of three members elected at large for six year terms.  They develop and adopt the necessary ordinances, by-laws, and regulations to guide the operation of the Township government; they have the overall responsibility for the financial condition of the Township.
        The Supervisor's compensation is set by State code.  Forward Township Supervisors are paid $1500.00 per year.  Supervisors are also permitted to work as employees of the Township, with their compensation fixed by the Township Auditors; however, none of the current supervisors work for the Township in any capacity, except Supervisor.

Tom DeRosa:    In addition to the several successful businesses he has owned and operated, Tom has enjoyed a number of athletic successes, both as a player and a coach.  In 2000 his various endeavors earned him induction into the Elizabeth Forward Alumni and Friends Association's Hall of Fame.  The Hall of  Fame induction article (click here to view) very nicely summarizes Tom business achievements, and it provides a glimpse into his successes in golf, soccer, dog training, coaching, and of course football.  The following are additional articles and pictures - click on the blue item number to view:
